Beautiful Sand Cast Sterling Silver Concho Belt

Beautiful sand cast sterling silver concho belt. This belt has a buckle and 13 conchos. The shapes are ovals. Each piece is 2 1/8" wide x 1 7/8" tall. Two copper strips are attached to the back of each concho. These allow the conchos to slide along the 1" wide black leather and hold the conchos in place. The leather is over 32" long. The sand cast is a method the Navajo use to make jewelry. A mold is made in wet sand. Molten silver is poured into the mold to shape a piece of jewelry. It is then cooled, cleaned, and polished.
