Large Overlay Sterling Silver Navajo Turquoise Turtle Pendant
Large overlay sterling silver Navajo turquoise turtle pendant. The artist's hallmark (A. Mariano) is Alonzo Mariano and is stamped on the back. "Sterling" is stamped below the hallmark. The pendant measures 3 3/16" long including the bail by 1 7/16" wide. The pendant features a turtle with overlay that is hand stamped and a kokopelli figure dancing in the center of an oxodized background. The turquoise is set in a sawtooth bezel and measures 9mm long by 7mm wide. All the details on the feet and tail are hand stamped and his eyes are applied hand stamped beads.
