Navajo Geometric Shadowbox Hand Stamped Sterling Silver Turquoise Buckle

Navajo geometric shadowbox hand stamped sterling silver turquoise buckle. The artist's hallmark (W.M.) is Wilbur Musket and is stamped on the back of this piece.  "Sterling" is stamped below the hallmark. This buckle measures 2 1/2" long by 3" wide and features an oval sawtooth bezel set turquoise stone measuring 1/2" long by 1 3/8" wide. The shadowbox has a striking geometric shape emphasized by the oxidized background. The hand stamped rays and borders are well executed and set off by the braid of twisted wire.
