Navajo Sand Cast Sterling Silver and Turquoise Necklace

Sand cast sterling silver and turquoise pendant. Sand cast is a method the Navajo use to make a certain style of jewelry. A mold is formed in wet sand. Molten silver is poured into the mold to make a jewelry piece. This pendant is in the shape of a lightning bolt and a corn plant. It is 1 5/8" long x 15mm wide. The turquoise is 4 mm in diameter.
