Santo Domingo style overlay on shell Zuni Rain Priest kachina necklace. The round pendant is 2 5/8" in diameter. The red shell is overlaid with turquoise, jet, and mother of pearl in a kachina mask design. The necklace is 22" long. Two strands of turquoise stone and coral branch beads were used for the chain. The turquoise stones average 7mm wide, with two 16mm nuggets where the pendant attaches. Sterling silver cones and a hook clasp finish the back. The necklace is in good condition.
