Sterling silver and turquoise sand cast pin. There is no artist's hallmark on this piece. This pin measures 1 3/8" tall by 1 11/16" wide. The turquoise stone measures 5.5mm long by 7mm wide. The pin mechanism works well. Sand casting is a method used in Navajo jewelry. A mold is made in wet sand and molten silver is poured into the mold to make the shape. This pin is in good condition.
