Sterling Silver and Turquoise with Matrix Sand Cast Cuff Bracelet
Vintage sterling silver and turquoise with matrix sand cast cuff bracelet. This bracelet is not signed but appears to be Navajo. Sand casting is a traditional technique for making jewelry. A mold is formed in wet sand. Molten silver is poured into the mold to make a piece of jewelry, which is then cleaned and polished. This bracelet is 1 1/4" wide at the top. The 13mm-long turquoise stone has a pretty matrix. The inside measurement of the cuff is 4 15/16" and there is an additional 7/8" gap. This is a small size. The bracelet is in good condition.
