Sterling Silver Turquoise and Coral Chip Inlay Concho Belt by Richard Begay

Outstanding sterling silver turquoise and coral chip inlay concho belt. The artist's hallmark on the buckle ("RB") is Richard Begay, Navajo. The buckle and 9 oval conchos each have a beautiful turquoise and coral chip mosaic design surrounded by a silver border with exquisite stampwork. The buckle has scalloped edges. It is 2 1/2 " wide by 3 1/8" long. The conchos are 1 13/16" wide by 2 3/8" long. These vintage conchos have been restrung on a new black leather strap. The strap is 35" long and 1 3/16" wide. The end of the strap was left intact to enable a wearer to punch custom-fitted holes. This concho belt is in good condition.
