Stunning Sterling Silver Overlay Belt Buckle with Multi Stone Inlaid Bird

Stunning sterling silver overlay belt buckle with a multi-stone inlay bird design. There is no artist's hallmark. The silver work appears to be Navajo. "Sterling" is stamped on the back. The buckle is 2 5/8" tall by 3 1/2" wide. It features a bezel-set oval mother-of-pearl stone in the center, surrounded by silver leaves, flowers, beads and twisted wire. The center stone is 29mm long by 22mm wide. The bird is inlaid with turquoise, jet, white shell, coral and abalone. The edges of the buckle are overlaid with stamped silver pieces in a scale pattern.
