Vintage Sterling Silver Sand Cast Star Pin

Vintage sterling silver sand cast star pin. There is no artist's hallmark on this piece. The design is a five-point star. Sand casting is a Navajo technique of making a mold in wet sand. Molten silver is poured into the sand. When the silver has cooled, the piece is cleaned, polished and finished. This pin measures approximately 2" tall by 2" wide. It is in good condition.
