Vintage sterling silver and turquoise sand cast brooch pin. The artist's hallmark (JC) is unknown. Sand-casting is a traditional jewelry-making technique the Navajo are known for, where molten silver is poured into a wet sand mold. This brooch is 15/16" tall by 2 15/16" wide.
