This is a vintage sterling silver overlay man in the maze belt buckle made by Alvin Sosolda. The “man in the maze” is a visual representation of the Tohono O’odham Indians belief in life, death, and the life after death. This buckle is 2 3/4" X 2" and 1/16" thick. This piece could easily be worn every day and weighs 41.4 grams. The back of the buckle is signed by the artist Alvin Sosolda with his hallmark.  Guaranteed to be sterling silver.
